Your journey begins at 08:00 AM in a private, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle. We cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, offering spectacular views of rugged peaks and valleys.
Our first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous ksar, known for its traditional earthen architecture. After exploring this historic landmark, we continue toward Ouarzazate or Agdez for lunch.
In the afternoon, we drive through the picturesque Draa Valley, lined with lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs, before arriving in Zagora or M’Hamid, depending on your chosen route and accommodation.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a desert lodge in Zagora or a traditional tent near M’Hamid.
After breakfast, we journey deeper into the desert, passing through the palm-filled landscapes of the Draa Valley. We stop for a panoramic view of the Palmeraie and visit Tamgroute, home to a historic Koranic library (closed on holidays) and an underground kasbah.
From there, we head to M’Hamid, the last village before the vast Sahara. After a short break, we venture 60 km off-road into the wilderness toward Erg Chigaga, Morocco’s most remote dune region, where dunes rise up to 300 meters and stretch over 40 kilometers.
Experience a magical camel ride at sunset, followed by a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tented camp beneath the starry desert sky.
Wake up to a serene desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast at your camp before setting off along the historic Paris–Dakar rally route, crossing the dry expanse of Lake Iriqui.
We reach Foum Zguid, where the paved road resumes, and continue to Taznakht, a Berber village renowned for its exquisite handmade carpets. After lunch, we journey back to Marrakech, arriving around 6:00 PM, where you’ll be dropped off at your riad or hotel—marking the end of an unforgettable Sahara experience.
