2 Day Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech
📅 Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
You start early from Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
First stop is Ifrane, a clean mountain town known for its European-style architecture and fresh air.
You continue through cedar forests near Azrou, where wild monkeys can often be seen in the trees. The road then takes you to Midelt, where you can stop for lunch surrounded by mountain landscapes.
After Midelt, the scenery becomes more dramatic as you descend into the Ziz Valley, a long oasis filled with palm trees and deep canyon views.
By late afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Here you begin a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will watch the sunset over the desert, then continue to your luxury desert camp for dinner, music, and an overnight stay under the stars.

📅 Day 2: Merzouga → High Atlas → Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the dunes, one of the highlights of the Sahara experience.
After breakfast, you leave the desert and begin a long but scenic drive towards Marrakech.
You pass again through desert landscapes and the Ziz Valley, then continue through Midelt and the Middle Atlas Mountains.
The journey continues through the High Atlas Mountains, offering stunning views and traditional Berber villages along the way.
You arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
End of the tour.
