2 Day Desert Tour from Fes to Fes
📅 Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga Desert
You start your journey from Fes in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Your first stop is Ifrane, known for its clean streets, alpine-style architecture, and cool climate. It is often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
You continue through the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys in their natural habitat. Then you drive through scenic mountain landscapes to Midelt for lunch.
In the afternoon, the scenery changes dramatically as you descend towards the desert. You pass through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and dramatic canyon views before reaching Merzouga.
In Merzouga, you begin a camel trek into the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. You will enjoy a magical sunset, followed by dinner and traditional music at a desert camp under the stars.

📅 Day 2: Merzouga → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, one of the most beautiful moments of the trip.
After breakfast, you leave the desert and start your return journey to Fes.
You drive back through the Ziz Valley, pass Midelt, and stop again in the Middle Atlas region for scenic breaks.
In the afternoon, you pass through Ifrane and cedar forests before arriving back in Fes.
End of the tour.
